Have you ever dreamed of a career as a music composer? Do you feel like playing the piano virtuoso? If so, you have a unique opportunity as part of the App of the Week event.

Deemo is a musical perception game in which you find yourself in the role of the character Deemo. A short animated trailer introduces you to the story, and when you press the Play button, the first song starts playing, which you are tasked with playing the piano to accompany it. Opera, pop, techno and many other genres will be played, and you will be tasked with playing the piano in all of them, that is, at the right moment, tap the flying dash representing the keyboard or different musical notes.

The right moment occurs when the "key" reaches the bottom of the screen and crosses the outlined line. You get points for each key pressed and your task is to get the highest possible percentage. At the end of each song, you'll get total stats and Deemo will show the different combinations you've achieved while playing, and when you're successful enough, a new song will be unlocked.

If the difficulty seems slow at first, believe me, it doesn't have to be that way soon. You always have a choice of three difficulties for each song, and at the same time you can always choose the speed of the flying lines before starting the song. When I tried the first song on hard difficulty and note speed on level 9, I hit about five keys at the right time all the time. From my point of view, it is impossible for someone to have a full 100% at this set level, as my eye barely noticed that something flew past my thumb.

You will find many different musical compositions in the game, which you will surely like very quickly. Every time I start the game, a note pops up saying that for a better game experience, the developers recommend using headphones, which I very much agree with. I have to say that sometimes it's a really nice feeling when the music is playing and you manage to tap the flying line at the right moment and a great matching piano note comes out. Simply put, it can be seen that the developers have taken care of the concept of the game, and thus it will not become familiar to you so quickly. Personally, the game gives me a more melancholic or depressing impression, which may be due to the fact that the entire game is in the so-called anime style.

In the game you will also find in-app purchases, where you have the opportunity to purchase collections of other songs. You will find only one collection for free, which still includes a lot of songs that will take you a lot of time to play completely on all difficulties. From my point of view, the game definitely deserves your attention, no matter what genre of music you listen to, and it will always please you or caress your soul. You can find the game completely free in the App Store this week.
