The Apple Watch is a very interesting device with great potential. But third-party developer apps installed on these smartwatches are sometimes a nightmare for users. They are even so slow that before they start, one would have to take out the iPhone three times and read the required information from it.

This is especially true for apps that don't run natively on the watch, but just mirror information from the iPhone. In Apple, they have decided that it is time to move on, and such applications will no longer be able to be uploaded to the App Store from June 1.

Running native applications enabled watchOS 2 operating system, which Apple released last September. This was the most fundamental improvement to the Watch yet, with apps gaining access to certain hardware and software features of the Watch, allowing them to function much more independently of the iPhone. Apps that run natively on the watch are of course much faster.

So it's only natural that Apple wants these apps to proliferate. Developers will have to adapt to the news, but it shouldn't cause them too many problems. Apple Watch users, on the other hand, can look forward to a significantly improved experience of using the watch.
