Apple picker Application In-weather has recently received a significant update that brings images from webcams. There are over 1000 webcams from the Czech Republic that are updated regularly (every 10 minutes). It is the largest network of Czech cameras. It contains hundreds of shots from mountains, ski areas, cities or other touristic locations. Thanks to the cameras, you can watch fogs, mountain views, clouds or snow cover.

Already in September, the application received an update bringing a probabilistic precipitation forecast, which will reveal how likely precipitation is expected in a given location. At 0% probability, the text "No precipitation is expected" is displayed. The probabilistic forecast is based on 40 outputs of the German ICON EU model. Each of the outputs is run with slightly different initial conditions and how much effect this has on the resulting prediction is investigated. In this way, various scenarios of the development of the weather are compiled, and from them the probabilities of occurrence of precipitation in the given area are subsequently calculated. The In-weather app is free and ad-free available for iOS and Android. It follows on from the successful Czech website In-počasí, where they are camera also newly available.
