It's been some Friday since we published the last IT summary on our magazine. Unfortunately, the apple conference got in the way, at which we saw new products and the release of new operating systems. About all these things, we constantly tried to bring you the most information that might interest you every day. However, the well has already relatively dried up, and that's exactly why we're coming back with a traditional IT summary, which will be here again until Apple introduces some new services or products. In this roundup, we'll take a look at Benzina's app news together and talk more about the filming of the second season of Apple's The Morning Show.

The Benzina app finally supports Tankarta payments

If you decide to refuel in the Czech Republic, you have several different gas stations at your disposal. Most of us have one favorite station where we fill up most often. Of course, the quality of the fuel itself is essential at gas stations, only then should we deal with the possible possibility of refreshments or the purchase of some things or a possible loyalty program. Benzina also has such a loyalty program, which almost all gas stations have - and it should be noted that this network of gas stations has perhaps one of the best, that is, in my experience. At Benzina, you can buy a so-called Tankart, which you can recharge in various ways. If you pay with this Tankarta at a gas station from Benzina, you will get fuel at a significant discount, up to CZK 1 per liter. Later, Benzina came with the possibility of QR payments directly at the stand using a classic payment card, but unfortunately this whole system lacked some things.

Although Benzina already introduced the aforementioned QR payment option a few months ago, unfortunately it was not possible to pay using Tankarta. This means that if you wanted to get a discount on fuel, you still had to go directly to the store and pay with a Tankarta at the terminal. However, recently we finally got an update to the Benzina app, which finally fixes all these shortcomings. You can now connect to your own account within the Benzina application, which can then be connected to all the Tankarts you have in addition to the classic payment card. This means that we can finally choose whether you want to pay with a payment card or Tankarta with QR payment. Considering that you can top up your finances on Tankart simply by a classic transfer, this means that you no longer have to talk to the staff at Benzina to pay for fuel, and you don't even have to enter the store, which is not only welcome in the current coronavirus situation .

But that's definitely not all that the new app update came with. In addition to the fact that you can use Tankart for cheaper refueling, Benzina has also decided to add a classic loyalty program in which you collect points, i.e. horses. You get one pony for every one crown spent, which is definitely worth it. You can currently buy refreshments for the horses, and hopefully the portfolio of products that you can exchange for points will grow later. The good news is that you will immediately receive a welcome bonus of 2500 horses for registering in the application. All you have to do is refuel for another 500 crowns, and then you can choose your first "win". You then redeem the horses by opening your unique QR code in the app, which you then show to the cashier. Apart from these new features, the Benzina app can also display the balance on the cards, along with a map of the nearest Benzina and much more. If you are one of the people who prefers to refuel at Benzina, then the mentioned application is simply put "must-have".

The filming of the second season of The Morning Show will soon resume

Practically every one of us has a favorite series or show. It is quite possible that you have been waiting for the arrival of a new series of your favorite show this year, and even a few months ago. But as you surely know, the coronavirus entered us into this whole process, which, simply put, froze the whole world. In addition to the fact that all kinds of factories were closed and people were often forced to stay at home in quarantine, of course the film industry also stopped. Virtually all series that promised new series this year had to be postponed, often by several months to next year. It is absolutely the same in the case of The Morning Show from Apple itself - yes, even the apple company itself, which ranks among the largest companies in the world, had to respect all the regulations that arose with the coronavirus. The good news, however, is that the film industry is slowly (hopefully) starting to get back on track. According to available information, the filming of the second series of the aforementioned series should begin on October 19. The release date for the second season of The Morning Show is of course unknown, but it's certainly great that things are starting to move.
