Apple picker Angry Birds Space from the development studio Rovio Mobile they've headed into space, where they're once again chasing the piggies' criminal organization. They try to resist them across three galaxies full of diverse planets and asteroids.
The whole game starts with a big pig bang (Pig Bang). In this section, even new players who have no experience with Angry Birds will learn the basic principles of the game very easily. These remain basically unchanged from the previous parts. The change has only taken place in the perception of gravity, which now acts around each planet and can thus fundamentally alter your bird's flight path. In the rest of the universe, of course, there is zero gravity, in which dozens of asteroids and occasionally even a pig in a space suit float freely.
Another novelty is several randomly distributed black holes that you can encounter throughout the game. When your bird finds itself in such a black hole, it is teleported to the bonus round. These are based on the principle of the classic game space invaders, which older players may remember. Completed bonus levels are stored in a section of the game called Eggsteroid.
The team of birds at your disposal hasn't changed much since the original game either. It should be noted, however, that they all underwent a certain facelift, which appropriately modifies their shapes to be significantly more cosmic than ever before. The familiar line-up is complemented by a new one Ice bird, which, as the name suggests, has the ability to turn its obstacles into ice.
The last novelty in the game is a kind of help in a similar giant bird Space Eagle, which you can summon at any time during the game. After firing it, a massive black hole appears on the screen, engulfing everything that moves near it. The number of these eagles is limited, but they are gradually replenished throughout the game. In case of emergency, you can purchase more at any time using In-App Purchase.
The game includes a total of 90 game levels, of which 60 are included in the price of the game, and the remaining 30 can be purchased by each player for an additional fee. Owners of smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy series have a certain advantage here, as they can download the full version of the game with this extension for free. However, in the previous installments, free levels were added with each update, hopefully this trend will not spread and we will not have to pay for every few dozen levels that we complete in about the same number of minutes.
The new part of this highly successful series brings the much-desired refreshment to the increasingly stereotyped game that the original Angry Birds started to become thanks to Rio and Seasons. A big positive of the game is definitely the new design of individual levels and the element of gravity. Thanks to its sophistication, it will surely win you over quickly. The only thing I have to complain about in Angry Birds is the fact that some of the more difficult levels are all about luck. The skill and logical abilities of the player thus recede into the background, and that is certainly a shame. However, the truth remains that despite this deficiency, you will fall in love with the game and it will become your addiction for at least a few days.
