You may have already read the news that you can jailbreak your Android phone. Today's news goes a little further - you can run Android on an iPhone. Project Sandcastle, as the developers call it, is currently in beta (in terms of functionality and support, it's more of a pre-alpha) and for now only works with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Don't expect to sit down with your iPhone for a while, install a new system, and start using Android without any problems just yet. During installation, you have to take into account that the graphics chip, audio output, mobile network, cameras and Bluetooth are not working. After that, there are a number of minor bugs, the system stability is also not very good, but on the other hand, this is just the beginning.

The interesting thing is that this is not a completely pure Android. The developers also included Open Launcher (alternative home screen with menu) and Signal communication application in the installation package. The second interesting thing is that a few people are working on the project, who about ten years ago managed to get Android working on the now historic iPhones 2G and 3G. In the image below you can see the support of individual iPhones and what (doesn't) work on them.
