Today, Amazon has expanded its video streaming service Prime Video to more than 200 countries, including the Czech Republic. Amazon is particularly appealing for shows The Grand Tour about cars, which is the successor of the popular Top Gear. The introductory price is halved for the first six months – 3 euros per month (81 crowns).
A one-week trial period is also available for those who would like to try out Amazon Prime Video, which is a competitor to, for example, Netflix. However, Netflix will probably have an advantage over Amazon in terms of content, because it is not yet clear whether Prime Video will offer the same movies and series in all countries.
Next to successful The Grand Tour Amazon, for example, attracts series Mozart in the Jungle, Transparent or The Man in the High Castle.
Prime Video can be used on iPhones and iPads, where content can be downloaded for offline playback on select LG and Samsung smart TVs, as well as in the web interface on PrimeVideo.com. Amazon does not offer anything in Czech or with Czech subtitles. After the first six months, Prime Video will cost 6 euros per month (163 crowns), which is 1 euro less than Netflix.

I don't know, everyone is talking about us, but localization doesn't mean anything to them, I also include Netflix shows of those couples, the meeting with subtitles can't even be called the proverbial motherland
I downloaded it to my iPad for the Grand Tour and this is what happens:
1) Streamed videos are of brutal poor quality - see photo* (inet is fine for me, all other streaming services are fine)
2) Downloaded video runs better, but only in SD quality
3) The downloaded video plays in French, it is not possible to switch to another voice
Is it possible for Amazon to release such a charm and want money for it?
* the photo is from the iPhone camera, because the amazon app prevents the system screenshot with some clever DRM method
