He caught your eye at yesterday's Apple Event the new HomePod mini, which is supposed to become a cheaper alternative to the classic HomePod with a plethora of great features? You are not alone. To be honest, practically our entire editorial staff was much more interested in this news than the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, which Apple introduced after it. The subsequent realization that Apple has chosen the same sales policy for it as for the HomePod – i.e. sales only in countries where their inhabitants talk to Siri in their native language, which does not yet apply to the Czech Republic or Slovakia, was even more painful. However, as it now seems, the HomePod mini can still be bought here.

As in the case of the classic HomePod, which has been available on our market for a relatively long time, the HomePod mini will probably be available for purchase through many domestic stores with a good reputation. A great example is Alza, which started as one of the first sellers on the Czech market to sell the classic HomePod and which apparently has the same plans for the HomePod mini as well. It has already included it in its offer in both white and space gray color variants. The price of the product has not yet been determined, and the same applies to the delivery date, but considering the American price of $99, it can be expected that the domestic price tag of the HomePod will be around 2700 crowns. As for the start of sales, they are scheduled abroad for November 16, with pre-orders starting on November 6. It can therefore be expected that the HomePod mini will be available in the Czech Republic by the end of November.
