Jiří Filip Press Release: Alza.cz opens a new store in Prague Čakovice three weeks before Christmas. At almost 650 m2 will offer customers a large representation of increasingly popular private brands, large products such as refrigerators and washing machines will also be on display, as well as goods for immediate collection without prior ordering. The two-seater AlzaDrive, already the third in the Czech Republic, will enable motorized customers to conveniently and quickly pick up orders directly from the car. An e-shop will be offered as part of the grand opening directly at the branch and special discounts.
Alza.cz strengthens its sales network in the pre-Christmas season and just a few weeks before Christmas opens its second new branch this year with a size of almost 650 m2. The store with a modern exhibition area with hundreds of products is part of the Globus Čakovice shopping center. Thanks to its location right in the shopping area, it will allow customers to combine purchases and buy everything in one place. In addition, it will also offer a large parking capacity and convenient check-in directly from the car through the extended AlzaDrive, which people will especially appreciate in exposed parts of the year, such as the current Advent season.
"We know from our data that up to 85% of all e-shop orders go to delivery points - whether AlzaBoxes or brick-and-mortar branches, so we are constantly trying to expand and improve this network in order to offer customers maximum convenience in their purchases, especially now before Christmas," says Peter Šupák, director of expansion, facilities and showroom management at Alza.cz, adding: "The showroom in Čakovice is directly part of a heavily visited shopping center, so I believe that customers will like it. This is because they can directly view and try on the goods they have selected online during their other purchases, and then order them or buy them directly without an order."
The e-shop has set aside part of the store for direct sales, i.e. the possibility to purchase the displayed goods directly on the spot, without the need for an order on the e-shop. The menu includes the most popular products as well as seasonal goods. Now customers can buy here, for example, advent calendars, toys or cosmetic sets, i.e. products that are popular as Christmas gifts. In addition to the standard assortment, including large white appliances, they can also see a rich display of the assortment of private brands of the e-shop, which offer an ideal price-quality ratio.
In addition, customers can now purchase a number of these displayed products at extra favorable prices. As part of the grand opening, which falls on Friday, December 2, viz Alza prepared a special offer for the first visitors to the newly opened showroom. Discounts can only be obtained directly at the branch.
Part of the store is a two-channel AlzaDrive, already the third in the Czech Republic (others are in Upper Počernice av Hrášťany). For visitors to the shopping center who come shopping by car, this is the easiest way to pick up the ordered goods, moreover, without having to get out of the vehicle. Just choose AlzaDrive as the pick-up method, pay for the order online or, upon arrival, enter its number in the DriveBox and pay with a payment card on the spot. Then it is enough to proceed to the delivery, where it is dispatched in no time.
