Along with the new iOS 12, Apple also released a redesigned iWork office suite yesterday. The iOS versions of the Pages, Numbers and Keynote applications received several new functions. Along with this, Apple also updated the iWork platform for macOS, which, among other things, gained support for Dark Mode.

Of course, even iWork does not lack support for Shortcuts for Siri. Although Apple is relatively sparing in the details in the relevant report, it can be assumed that it will at least be possible to launch Keynote, Numbers or Pages with the help of the voice assistant Siri. At the same time, all mentioned applications support the native Dynamic Type function in the new update, which adapts the font based on the system settings. Users can download the complete iWork package for free from the App Store for both iOS devices and Macs.

In the new update, the Keynote app for iOS offers, in addition to support for Shortcuts for Siri, for example, the ability to improve the presentation with several brand new shapes or improve performance and stability. The Numbers application comes with improved display of the values of individual functions, the ability to group data based on unique values, or perhaps the ability to create tables with summary data. Pages in the new update lets you animate sketches, offers improvements to Smart Annotation, and like Keynote, it also comes with several new, customizable shapes for annotations.

As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, Keynote for Mac now offers support for Dark Mode (only for the macOS Mojave operating system). Another new feature is camera support in Continuity, thanks to which the user can take a photo or scan a document with the help of an iPhone and immediately include it in a presentation on the Mac. Support for Dark Mode and the camera in Continuity is now also offered by Numbers in the Mac version, all applications of the iWork package for Mac have also received performance and stability improvements.
