We got a lot of news at today's apple conference. Some we fully expected, while others, on the other hand, were very improbable. Currently, however, the Apple Keynote is over and we are faced with a finished product. In addition to the new iPad Pro, the redesigned iMac and the new generation of Apple TV, we also finally got AirTags location tags, which will certainly be appreciated by many users.

We've known for months, if not years, that Apple was working on its own tracking tracker. At first it looked like we would see the show at the end of last year, but in the end Apple took its time and came up with them only now. There's been a lot of talk about the battery life with AirTags. Someone stated that it would be replaceable, someone else that it would be rechargeable. Individuals from the first group that mentioned a replaceable battery were right in this case. Each AirTag has a classic CR2032 flat battery in it, which according to information should last up to one year.

But it doesn't end with battery information. Apple also mentioned water resistance and dust resistance, among other things. Specifically, the apple locator posts offer IP67 certification, thanks to which you can submerge them in water to a maximum depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. Of course, even in this case, Apple states that the resistance to water and dust may decrease over time. If the AirTag is damaged, of course you cannot file a claim, just like for example with an iPhone.
