This week's Spring Loaded Keynote saw the introduction of the long-awaited AirTag location tag. This product goes on sale tomorrow at 14:00. This time, Apple also bet on already traditional tactics and prematurely lent this news to some foreign media and YouTubers, who will take a closer look at AirTag even before the mentioned launch of sales and show apple sellers what it is actually capable of.

AirTag review by The Verge

As we mentioned above, the new AirTag works as a location tag that is integrated into the Find My network, so we can search for it through the native Find application. In short, it can be said that it is a smaller insurance policy against losing things. The AirTag can be attached to almost anything via a case or key ring - keys, backpack, etc., thanks to which we can then precisely determine their location. The U1 ultra-wideband chip is behind this magic. This allows the iPhone (11 and newer) to navigate almost to the centimeter and show the exact location where the tracking tag is located. So how did the lucky ones who got their hands on the product react to this news?

The evaluations of foreign reviewers in the case of the AirTag localization pendant are quite similar, so no one's opinion stands out from the crowd. The product works exactly as described, is extremely reliable, and the simple settings have often been highlighted. In general, the AirTag is quite a practical solution that apple growers have been looking forward to for quite some time. Of course, nothing is perfect and there are always some negatives. In this case, the reviewers expressed minor complaints on account of the color used. Apple opted for white, but over time it can look dirty or get dirty more easily. The YouTube content creator, who goes by the moniker MKBHD, then found the shape used to be less than practical and compact.
