Regarding the new generation AirTag, Ming-Chi Kuo said last year that mass production of the second generation AirTag had been delayed from the fourth quarter of 2024 to an unspecified time in 2025, but did not give a reason for the apparent change in plans. The aforementioned Mark Gruman from Bloomberg also reported similar information in one of his Power On newsletters, saying that Apple originally planned to introduce the AirTag 2 this year.
