It is less than a week ago that the apple company sent out invitations to the October conference, where the new iPhone 12 will be presented. This October conference is already the second autumn conference this year - at the first one, which took place a month ago, we saw the presentation of the new Apple Watch and iPads. The second conference will take place already tomorrow, i.e. October 13, 2020, at 19:00 our time. In addition to the new iPhones, we should probably also expect the presentation of other products at this conference. Specifically, the HomePod mini is "in the game", followed by AirTags location tags, AirPods Studio headphones, and also the AirPower wireless charging pad.

The AirPower wireless charging pad was introduced a few years back, specifically alongside the new iPhone X. Apple said after the launch that AirPower will be available for quite some time. All this time there was silence about this charger on the sidewalk, only after a few months we learned that the apple company set a very high goal, and that it was impossible to construct the original AirPower. Some time ago, however, information began to appear again that Apple should eventually come up with AirPower - of course, not in its original form. If we see the presentation of AirPower, it can be said that it will not be completely revolutionary, and that it will be an "ordinary" wireless charging pad, of which there are already countless available in the world.

The newly redesigned AirPower should arrive in two different variants. The first variant will be intended only for charging a certain apple device, with the help of the second variant you will then be able to charge several products at the same time. It goes without saying that the simple and minimalistic design will match perfectly with other Apple products. As for the appearance as such, we should expect a sore body. Then the materials are interesting - Apple should go for glass in combination with plastic. Support for the Qi charging standard is also practically self-evident, which means that with the new AirPower you can charge any device that supports wireless charging, not just the Apple one. Specifically, the second variant of AirPower should be able to charge any iPhone 8 and later, along with AirPods with a wireless charging case and, of course, the Apple Watch.

This is how the original AirPower was supposed to look "under the hood":

However, it is difficult to say in what way Apple opposes charging the Apple Watch - the body of the entire AirPower should be uniform and the cradle (recess) should not be located here at all. So this is the first uniqueness of the planned AirPower, the second uniqueness should then be a certain form of communication between all devices that are currently being charged. Allegedly, thanks to AirPower, it should be possible to display the battery charge status of all charged devices on the iPhone display in real time. So if you were to charge your Apple Watch, iPhone and AirPods at the same time, the iPhone display should show the charge status of all three devices. Of course, Apple can't fail a second time with AirPower, so it should be available to order together with the new iPhone 12. You should pay $99 for the first mentioned option, and then $249 for the second and more interesting option. Are you looking forward to AirPower?
