According to the latest reports, Apple is preparing to release the third generation of its wireless AirPods. The model should be called "AirPods Pro" and their biggest asset should be the long-awaited noise cancellation function. We could even wait for the presentation of these headphones this month.

China Economic Daily was among the first to report on Apple's plans to release new AirPods Pro. With the October launch, Apple most likely wants to ensure the start of sales in the period before the Christmas holidays. In its report, China Economic Daily refers to unnamed sources, according to which the price of AirPods Pro should be roughly 6000 crowns.

Although the mentioned reports are unofficial and unverified, they correspond with what the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo declared in April this year. At the time, he said that Apple would release two new variants of its headphones. One should see the light of day later this year, the other should come in early 2020.

While one of these two models should be similar in design and price to the current AirPods, in connection with the second variant there is speculation about a completely new design, new functions and a higher price. It also indicates the possible arrival of AirPods with a noise canceling function icon, which appeared in the beta version of the iOS 13.2 operating system. The China Economic Daily is generally considered a fairly reliable source, so it can be assumed that we will indeed see the new AirPods.
