As early as this morning, customers could seamlessly purchase AirPods in the Apple Online Store with delivery within one business day. But since the afternoon, the headphones have been reported as sold out, across almost all European countries. So it seems more likely that Apple will start sales of AirPods with an improved case that will support wireless charging later this month. Owners of the current model should then be able to upgrade to a newer model, which means, among other things, that the new case will also be sold separately. At first glance, the visible change of the new box will be the relocated diode, which will now be removed on the front side.
