Still the more popular mail client Airmail released in a new version for OS X and brings to Mac the best that users have been used to for some time from iPhones and iPads. Airmail 3 brings a whole range of novelties and graphical improvements.
Newly, you can use smart folders on Mac, thanks to which you can more easily organize your messages, VIP contacts, quickly reply directly from notifications in OS X, and use the "send later" function in Gmail or Exchange accounts.
Synchronization via iCloud has been improved, settings for accounts, rules, VIP contacts and smart folders are sent between Airmail on Mac, iPhone or iPad. Airmail 3 also supports multiple accounts including MS Exchange, Gmail, Google Apps, IMAP, POP3, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook.com or Live.com.
The customization palette has been expanded, where you can adjust the operation of menus, gestures, keyboard shortcuts and folders. Airmail is also integrated with your calendar and has a faster rendering engine for faster loading of messages. After all, the appearance of conversations has been changed and the overall graphical interface of Airmail has been even more polished.
You can find a complete list of news and changes, of which there are many, in the Mac App Store, where Airmail 3 can be purchased for 10 euros. The update is free for existing users.

Nice update. It's just that the icon in the dock keeps telling me Airmail 2. And for some reason I see all the messages in text form. Maybe I messed it up somewhere, but I can't figure out where :-(
Yeah, I didn't rename the app either, but just do it in the Finder.
Yes, that would also work, but I'll wait for an update to see if it fixes it :-). But I will still have to write to support, email in text form is not quite ideal. For now, I've gone back to Apple Mail for this.
Smart folders work correctly only on Gmail, if I want messages with a label from IMAP, they will be displayed, but if I want only unread ones, not even a vorla. If I display messages in the smart folder according to the label from imap and look at the message, it is not marked as read. Hopefully they will update it, I need a smart folder for folders with emails about server statuses, so I don't have to hunt for it through accounts...
I hesitate to make another attempt. I'm afraid that history will repeat itself again (as it has for the umpteenth time) and I'll only get another confirmation that the system Mail is still the best... ;)
Mail has always been worth a fart, and Apple has also struggled with it a lot.
I think Thunderbird is the best, but I use Airmail2.
I guess I'm a little demanding, but I haven't noticed any increased "fartiness" of Mail in years of use. What really annoys me is the speed and reliability of the email interface on the iCloud website...
Mail is an app with a target group of mothers on MD and BFU, moreover full of errors.
Most people use something else, not just Thunderbird or Airmail, there are far more better clients.
I also use Mail to deal with work and have never had a problem :)
since the update the mail is angry, something is sent immediately, something goes to the draft, something disappears and appears in a few hours in the sent or in the draft .. I don't know :(
