We have known for a long time that kickstarter is a well of fresh ideas. Design fads that don't look very useful at first glance, but are complemented by really practical devices that can make work much more efficient. Proof of this is the All-in-one Thunderbolt 4 Power Docking Station, which is the first of its kind in the world.

Its creators state that it displays the status of all your connections in real time. It does this through 16 ports, but also an integrated display, which gives you information about their status at the first time. With its help, you can easily expand your computer with four additional 4K 60Hz displays or one 8K 60Hz display. It also works efficiently with power, as both USB-A and USB-C ports are equipped with Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 3.0 technologies for fast 15W charging (charging of the connected primary device takes place up to 98W).

Thunderbolt 4 then provides data transfer at a speed of 40 Gb/s, while this CrossHub has a total of 3 of these ports. The manufacturer states that you will be ready to transfer 4K movies in 30 seconds. In addition, the solution has a slot for an SSD disk, so you can also back up the contents of your device to it. You can use any M.2 NVMe SSD from size 2230 to 2280. One of the most powerful features is the 2,5 Gigabit Ethernet port, which is 2,5 times faster than traditional Gigabit Ethernet and is fast becoming the new standard for routers in offices and homes.

There is also an SD and microSD UHS-II card reader, as well as a 3,5 mm jack connector for connecting headphones or a microphone. The entire solution is compatible with all devices that have Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 and USB4 standards. But "regular" devices with USB-C are also compatible, so you can connect not only your Mac (with macOS 11 and later), Windows (10 and later) or devices with ChromeOS to the solution, but also iPad (Pro and Air 4th generation) and Windows tablets.

Despite the fact that the device is relatively small and light (height 51 mm, width and depth 132 mm, weight 0,4 kg), it can handle a lot. The chassis is aluminum, the upper surface is glass. But the product page is tactfully silent about heating. With more than two weeks left in the campaign, the goal was to raise a relatively low $7. But now the creators of the project have already been promised 450 thousand dollars. The current price within the campaign is 120 dollars (approx. 154 CZK), while the full price will be 3 dollars (approx. 800 CZK). Worldwide delivery is scheduled to begin in December of this year. There are other discounted sets available.
