Even before the iPhone 15, Apple showed us the new generations of its Apple Watch. These are the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. We have somehow gotten used to the fact that there aren't too many new products in the Series series over the last few years, which was actually confirmed this year as well. Even so, there are several reasons why the novelty can really interest.

Do you like the new Apple Watch Series 9 or Ultra 2? So simply buy them, no matter which previous generation you own. So the advice is simple, but clear. If you are one of the hesitant shooters, here we will try to tell you a few reasons why it is worth considering switching to news. But it's a subjective opinion that you don't have to share with us.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

The decision here is actually very simple. If you don't have an Apple Watch Ultra and want this over the base series, just get the new model just like if you own an older Series model. This is not so much because of the maximum brightness of the display, which can now reach up to 3 thousand nits, as precisely with regard to the new chip.

The S9 chip is the most powerful chip Apple has ever made for its watch, and it brings system-wide improvements and brand new features, including a new double-tap gesture and Siri on the watch, which can now access and securely record health data. In addition, its presence ensures a long service life of your watch. The previous S6, S7 and S8 chips were based on the first mentioned, so there is a high probability that when the time comes, Apple will end support for all these chips at once, including the first Apple Watch Ultra.

Apple Watch Series 9

If you just want a look upgrade and you own an Apple Watch Series 7 and 8, then there is nothing new to amaze you (unless you absolutely need the pink color). However, if you are still the owner of Series 6 and older, the situation is different here, because you will have a larger case and display. If you're after features and own a Series 8, the question is whether the new chip, hand-tapping gesture and brighter 2000-nit display will convince you. So there's still improved precision tracking (like in the 2nd gen Ultras), but it's certainly nothing you'd run out of time for next gen.

If you bought an Apple Watch SE last year, you probably knew why you didn't need a Series 8. We don't have a new SE this year, so you don't have to regret the investment, just like you probably will boldly ignore the Series 9. Even considering all the intergenerational innovations that came with each series, moving from Series 6 and anything older seems like an ideal upgrade. Here, the transitions not only provide you with a new and larger design, but of course all the functions and possibilities that the company's watches have brought since then are added.
