Until now, the Flyover function in Apple's Maps was practically only for domestic users to love, because only distant places were offered in the unique 3D view. But now this is no longer the case, in the new Maps we can see Brno as if from the point of view of an airplane during a low flight.
Brno overtook even the capital city of Prague and became the first Czech city to acquire the Flyover function. Along with it, Apple quietly added another 10 places to its Maps, including Hamburg, Germany, or Liverpool, England. You can find a complete list of places displayed in the 3D view <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>.
You can take a unique 3D tour of Brno on iPhones, iPads and Mac computers, where Maps are also available.
They're fucking me, in the Zlín region there are map materials in the same quality as 10 years ago (between Zlín and Vsetín). I reported it several times but still nothing... :(
Look at Jeseník. :D
That Jeseník is a MASSACRE!!!
I have also reported it several times. They are not even able to deliver quality satellite images.
I still don't have Brno in 3D, nor Hamburg. Maybe it's starting gradually? iPad 2, iOS 8.1.3
I'm in the same situation, for some time the French city of Dijon should be in 3D, but I can't see it either. (Ipad 2 8.1.2, iphone 6 8.1.3) mystery.
Apparently I didn't notice the change. For older cities in 3D, the 3D icon lights up on my map, but not for new ones. So enter the specific city in the search engine in the maps and you will immediately get an offer for a 3D tour, I hereby apologize for the unnecessary post.
Yes, it works, but it would be a bummer
By the way, it's absolutely gorgeous, even the most closed yards have trees, sheds, garages have the texture of a door... I don't know if anyone realizes how much work it is.
I do not question the amount of work done and I was definitely pleased that we were ahead of Pragl :-)
Yep, on maps that no one uses :-D
Brno was very successful, mainly because Plzeň was no longer in the monogram for a long time.
Brno sounds great :-) Now cover the rest of the country in the same way and improve the search for all possible information, and Google Maps can go to waste. But I am afraid that I will have to wait a long time.
Mapy.cz has been running for some time
Sorry, but I don't understand why you are so upset. I find the 3D view unusable... nothing can be seen there. I slowly don't recognize the city.
Maybe you don't know how to use it ;) and understandably…. It's a kind of 3D map fluff...
Some people don't know the city, I even recognized a parked car there... Nice Brno (15 years younger, before the upgrade there were documents somewhere from 2000). It's just a pity that it's not online anywhere, so that it can be used for example on the web.
That's really nice. I would appreciate the file to have descriptive numbers. Navigation according to iOS very often leads to a completely different house, an apartment on the same street. I don't use it here, because I drove everywhere late. Some of the streets are quite long and branched, and it can happen that you wander for half a kilometer somewhere else. But you have it in 3D. Well parade...
I've never had a problem with this before…
I was looking forward to this. Keep it up!!!

so until the next update, Freedom Square (I think that's it) will look like a swamp :))
Do those maps still exist? I thought that if no one uses it, they packed it away :-)
