The iOS 16 release date is no longer a secret. Apple announced a little while ago the date of this year's developer conference WWDC, at which it will officially reveal this system along with all other new versions of the OS that it offers on its products. This will happen specifically on June 6 this year at the opening WWDC Keynote, which will start as usual at 19:00 our time. The developer's conference will then continue until Friday, June 10 - also traditionally.

iOS 16 release date

While in the past Apple quite often presented hardware products at WWDC, this year will most likely only be in the spirit of software innovations. The hardware will probably be "presented" by Apple at several consecutive events during the fall, as was the case in previous years. If we then see some hardware at WWDC, it will probably be just a kind of preview, with which Apple will make it clear to the world that it should count on the product and that it will be released soon. If you are interested in the format of the event, it will be online, as in the previous two years, with the fact that Apple will allow the physical presence of selected students and developers at the opening keynote. However, it won't be a "crowd frenzy" like it used to be, which is somewhat of a shame.
