Almost $13 million brought out at the end of November, an auction that raised money for the fight against AIDS under the auspices of the (Product) RED brand. Together, two Apple products – a unique edition of the Mac Pro and EarPods headphones – were auctioned off for almost one and a half million dollars. Now it has emerged that they were apparently acquired by Tony Fadell, one of the creators of the iPod…
The names of those who for several million dollars bought objects on which for example, Jony Ive and Marc Newson participated, was not published. However, according to photographer Kevin Abosch's tweets, it looks like the unique red Mac Pro and gold EarPods were acquired by Nest founder and former Apple executive Tony Fadell.
The red Mac Pro is interesting not only for its appearance, but also for the fact that only a handful of them are currently in the hands of users in the world, since Apple still hasn't started selling its new most powerful computer. This is expected to happen in the coming days. This design gem was auctioned for 977 thousand dollars (19,4 million crowns) and if we read Kevin Abosch's photos correctly, its owner is Tony Fadell.
Fadell let himself be immortalized with a red Mac Pro and Abosch on Twitter attributed: "Both the only ones of their kind... @tfadell with a (RED) Mac Pro and immediately tries to hack it!”

In the next picture, Fadell also holds gold headphones (auctioned for $461) and Abosch next to him writes: "My friend @tfadell he stopped with unique golden headphones. Very cool! Thanks!"

Server & Hosting MacRumors tried to contact both Kevin Abosch and Tony Fadell to confirm whether the red Mac Pro and the gold headphones really belonged to the former head of Apple's iPod division. It has not been possible to obtain a statement for the time being.
[do action=”update” date=”15. 12. 10:30″/]Photos of Tony Fadell and the products auctioned during the (Product) RED event ended up being misleading. The CEO of Nest says everything on his Twitter he said for the record and revealed that he does not own a red Mac Pro or gold Earpods. However, he refused to reveal the owner. If he wants to, he will sign up himself.
To be clear, I'm not the owner of either. The real owner will reveal themselves if they so choose. @kevinabosch @tfadell with (RED) Mac Pro

A good example of how it is possible to extort money from spendthrift snobs for charitable purposes...
I don't think they are wasteful snobs. Or does having money automatically mean you're a spendthrift snob? Try to think a little before you write such nonsense..
