Apple picker Press Release: Viber, one of the world's leading communication and messaging platforms, announces the release of Viber 10. It brings a new elegant design tailored for a better user experience and greater performance of the application, which allows you to send messages 2x faster.
The new design brings users:
- Simplified navigation: better control, users find everything they need exactly where it should be
- Easy access: users have all private and group conversations, Communities, chatbots and other popular content in one main list
- Improved call screen: in the new version of the call screen, users will find recent calls, access contacts and manage prepaid Viber Out calls
Viber 10 also brings two complete new features that further strengthen Viber as an efficient and powerful application for secure communication.
- Hidden phone numbers in chats within Viber Communities, they allow two people to exchange messages without seeing each other's phone numbers. This allows for spontaneous and casual interaction with other members of the given community, but also ensures that their privacy is maintained. Interaction is possible by clicking on the user's profile or from the list of members in the community information. If users choose, they can exchange their phone numbers and continue communicating outside the community.
- Viber Group Call / group calls allows up to five people to talk to each other at the same time. It is possible to add new people to an existing group call or start a new call directly from the group chat. This feature will work for voice calls first and later for video calls as well.
The new version of Viber 10 corresponds to the company's philosophy of maintaining 100% user privacy with the help of encryption at both ends of communication, which is set by default and valid for all conversations and calls.
