Since the introduction of the iPad Air 2 in 2014, the so-called Apple SIM can be used to simply purchase a tariff without obligation. Its advantage is that it is not connected to any operator, so if the user wants to switch to another tariff, he does not have to get a new SIM card and contact the operator.

Enough choose a different tariff in the settings of that iPad. An Apple SIM is supplied directly with the device in some countries and can be purchased from selected Apple Stores elsewhere. But anyone who buys the new 9,7-inch iPad Pro will be able to use an Apple SIM immediately. The SIM card is integrated directly into its motherboard ().

Apple SIM services are currently available in 90 countries, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia (however, T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone say they do not currently support Apple SIM here). The ability to easily and quickly change the tariff and the operator is advantageous with the iPad, especially because everyone does not necessarily need to have a mobile connection available on the tablet all the time, and all they need is Wi-Fi. It would also be very useful for an iPhone when traveling, when after arriving in a foreign country there is no need to buy another SIM card, but you just have to choose the tariff directly on the device in question.

But the potential of the integrated Apple SIM is much greater. Whether it is getting rid of classic and user-impractical SIM cards, or changing the entire tariff market thanks to easy switching between operators.
