If you somehow didn't register the introduction of new systems, then for the record - Apple quite expectedly presented iOS and iPadOS 14, macOS 11 Big Sur, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14. All these systems were available to all developers shortly after the end of the conference. Of course, we are already testing all these systems for you - as for iOS 14 and macOS 11 Big Sur, we have already brought you the first glimpses.

In connection with iOS and iPadOS 14, everyone is talking about the biggest news, which undoubtedly includes, for example, the App Library (Application Library), or perhaps the option to add widgets to the screen. But the truth is that Apple has added a lot of different and, it should be noted, great features to iOS 14 that are not talked about much. We have already informed you about some of these functions in the articles, but there is no more space for some of them. So let's take a look at all these remaining and lesser-known features that are not getting attention together in this article. In some cases, you will definitely be surprised, some features will also quite possibly convince you to switch to iOS 14.
The differences in the Camera are yuck!
If you closely followed the presentation of the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro (Max) half a year ago, you may have noticed that these devices received a redesign of the native Camera application. Thanks to this redesign, users were able, for example, to change the image format directly in it (16:9, 4:3, square) and perform many other options. Some users expected these changes to be reflected in older devices, but we didn't see it in iOS 13. It already looked like Apple wouldn't address this difference on older devices, but luckily, users of iOS 14 and older devices got to see it. The redesigned Camera is therefore available on all devices after the update.

Sharing family subscriptions
If you use family sharing, you know that you can share purchases with family members. So if one member buys an app in the App Store, the rest of the family can download it for free. It only worked this way for apps, but with the arrival of iOS 14, this behavior will also change. Shopping sharing will continue to be available, but we've also added the ability to share family subscriptions. This means that if one family member buys a subscription, the rest of the family will be able to use that subscription as well - without a separate purchase. This will of course save families, but on the other hand, the income of all developers will be reduced.
Precipitation tracking in Weather
In addition to the addition of widgets in iOS 14, in which you can also display your own widget of the Weather application, we also received a slight redesign of the entire Weather application. Newly, this native app can display real-time rainfall on Apple phones. It is abundantly clear that the implementation of this feature was possible primarily due to Apple's recent acquisition of Dark Sky. For those less in the know, Dark Sky is one of the most popular apps that allow users to track the weather on their mobile devices. The native Weather app will now also allow users to track weather conditions minute by minute.

New Features Accessibility
When developing iOS 14, Apple also thought of disabled individuals in a certain way. He has added several different functions to the Accessibility section of the Settings app to make life easier for disabled users. One can mention, for example, a function that allows the iPhone to listen to all surrounding sounds and if it recognizes a certain sound, it starts to vibrate. Users can set, for example, listening to a baby crying, a doorbell, a fire alarm and many other similar sounds. If we put this function into practice, if the iPhone of a deaf user recognizes a child's cry, it will start to vibrate in a certain way. The deaf user will feel the vibrations and will be able to react to the cry (or other sound).

Apple cares about security and privacy
As you probably know, Apple is one of the few companies that tries to protect the sensitive data of its users as much as possible. In iOS 13, for example, we saw the addition of a feature that made it possible to prohibit applications from tracking your location - and if you enabled location tracking, the system then informed you how many times and how often the application collects data about your location. Users could suddenly find out that some applications are tracking them practically non-stop, and for no reason. In iOS 14, we saw further strengthening of privacy protection. If an application asks you to access photos, you can choose only certain photos that the application will be able to access. Therefore, if you allow the application to access only 1 photo, it will not know anything about all the others.
Tap on the back
iOS 14 also includes a new and, it should be noted, great feature called Back Tap. Even though this is a function that you can find in Accessibility, it will certainly be used extensively by users who are not disabled in any way. As the name of this feature suggests, it is activated by tapping on the back of your iPhone. In practice, this means that you can set special actions that will be performed if you tap the back of the iPhone with your finger twice or three times in a row. There are both ordinary functions, such as taking a screenshot or muting the sound, as well as accessibility functions, such as activating the magnifying glass, zooming in, and others. You can find this feature in Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch.

Sleep mode is also in iOS
In addition to the fact that Apple presented iOS and iPadOS 20 as part of yesterday's WWDC14 conference, it also presented, for example, watchOS 7. Within this operating system, users finally got a native application with which they are able to measure and monitor their sleep. Of course, you need to sleep with your Apple Watch on for an accurate measurement – but some users charge the watch overnight and don't have it on their wrist. Not only because of this, Apple added the ability to monitor sleep on the iPhone. Specifically, you can find the item Sleep in the Health application, where you can set it and of course here you can also monitor all measured data related to sleep.
