Forgot the password for a Wi-Fi network that you don't connect to very often? Open the utility Key ring (Finder -> Applications -> Utilities, or by typing the name in Spotlight). In the left panel of the application window, click on System. Double-click to open the settings of the desired Wi-Fi network, check the option Show password and enter your computer password.

  • Check the option at the top Automatically hide and show the menu bar.

Escape via Touch Bar

If you are one of the owners of newer MacBook Pros with Touch Bar and sorely miss the physical Escape key, there is a solution for you. This takes the form of a squeeze Cmd (⌘) + Period, which should work for you in most applications and adequately replaces the functions of the Esc key, such as shrinking a window from full-screen view.

Even better volume and brightness control

If you're not comfortable with how much brightness or volume can be controlled on your Mac using the corresponding keys and want more subtle nuances, hold down the keys while controlling Option (⌥) + Shift (⇧).

Switching between windows

If you have multiple windows open from one application, you can switch between them by pressing keys Cmd (⌘) + ¨ (the key is located above the right on the Czech keyboard Shift (⇧)). Press to switch between tabs in the browser Cmd (⌘) + key with the number corresponding to the order of the desired card.
