On Monday sent Apple among the registered developers the seventh beta version of iOS 12. But the spread of the system was forced after a few hours stop due to issues causing iPhones and iPads to slow down. Yesterday the company she issued corrective, already the eighth beta. So let's summarize what news it brings.

Due to the fact that the testing of new systems is slowly but surely approaching the final stage, there are fewer and fewer new functions. iOS 12 beta 7/8 is no exception, as no fundamental changes have taken place in the system compared to the previous version. The most important difference is the removal of group FaceTim calls. But a few little things have changed.

What's new in iOS 12 beta 7/8:

  1. New Measurement app icon.
  2. When you first open the Messages application, a splash screen will appear informing you about all the new functions.
  3. When logging into applications via Face ID, a smiley indicating a face scan is displayed again.
  4. Suggestions for sharing photos have been added to the Photos app.
  5. In the screenshot editor, the specific size of individual tools is now displayed.
  6. The Music app now displays previews of video clips in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
  7. Group FaceTime calls have been temporarily removed.
