In today's IT summary, we will look at a total of four novelties together. The most important of them concerns the 5G network in the Czech Republic – it is already available in a certain area, and the first users will soon be able to use it. In the second report, we will then focus on the Czech game venture Kingdom Come Deliverance, then we will look at which new mobile device will unfortunately stop being sold in the Czech Republic, and we will also focus on the GeForce Now service. There is no time to waste, so let's get straight to the point.

The 5G network will be available in the Czech Republic in just a few days

The news that it will soon be possible to use the 5G network in the Czech Republic spread across the Czech internet this afternoon. Although this information may seem like "fake news" at first glance, believe that it is the pure truth. Many knowledgeable individuals in the field might think that T-Mobile will be the first to launch a 5G network in the Czech Republic, but this opinion is wrong. The operator O5 was the first in the Czech Republic to make 2G internet available. Connection using 5G is available in Prague and also in Cologne. Of course, 5G signal coverage will gradually expand. Compared to 4G, the new 5G network offers up to ten times faster data download and upload speeds. Specifically, O5's 2G is supposed to offer download speeds of up to 600 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 100 Mbps. All users of the NEO Gold and Platinum and FREE+ Bronze, Silver and Gold tariff plans can start using the 5G network from O2. O2 then charges a crown per month for connecting to the 5G network. However, it is of course necessary to mention that in order to use the 5G network, your device must support it - for example, no model of the iPhone series is capable of 5G. If there are any 5G naysayers out there, please watch the video I've attached below - 5G certainly won't hurt you. To write a comment 5G = genocide, then please don't.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be completely free!

If you are one of the passionate gamers, then you definitely did not miss the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverence in 2018. Millions of people around the world know this Czech venture from the well-known developer Daniel Vávra (and his team), who is behind the notorious Mafia. It should be noted that this Czech title was quite a success - over three million people bought it, the first million of which were sold in the first month, and the developers had to wait practically two years for the remaining two million. However, the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance decided to expand the player base a bit more. From June 18th to June 22nd, all players will be able to download this title completely free of charge. They will be able to do so on the Steam gaming platform. If a user adds Kingdom Come: Deliverance to their library within the mentioned date, the title will remain in their library forever.

The Xiaomi flagship will be withdrawn from sale in the Czech Republic

A few weeks ago, from the Chinese company Xiaomi, we saw the introduction of a new flagship of the line of phones, namely the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. According to the available performance tests, this phone is very powerful, it should even be one of the most powerful (if not the most powerful) phones available in the world right now. Performance has become the main driver of demand for this device. Unfortunately, Xiaomi does not have time to produce the phone due to the huge demand (mainly in China). Xiaomi wants to have its flagship available primarily to the Chinese population, so it has been decided that both the top model Mi 11 Pro and the Mi 11 model will be withdrawn from sale in all markets, that is, except for the Chinese one. In the Czech Republic, this was confirmed by Kateřina Czyžová from Witty Trade, which is the main distributor of Xiaomi phones in the Czech Republic. However, the lightweight version of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite will remain available in the Czech Republic. According to available information, the Chinese manufacturer will no longer send any more pieces to the Czech Republic - so if you want this device, you should decide to buy it before the domestic stock runs out. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro with 256 GB of storage will cost you CZK 27, while the Xiaomi Mi 990 in the 10 GB (128 GB) version will cost you CZK 256 (CZK 21).

GeForce Now is back!

Are you an avid gamer, but only have a weak computer or laptop? The nVidia company, which primarily deals with the development and production of graphics cards, decided to solve this exact situation. A few months ago, nVidia decided to launch GeForce Now, a service that uses a remote server to provide you with gaming performance and then only transmits the image to your device over an internet connection. Thanks to GeForce Now, you don't need a powerful machine, you just need a (quality) internet connection to play. The service experienced a huge boom after its launch, despite the fact that many game studios decided to remove their games from the service (such as Blizzard). Even so, in GeForce Now you will find a lot of game gems that you will definitely enjoy playing. GeForce Now is available in a free version (limitation of playing for 1 hour, after which you have to restart the session) and in the so-called Founders version, for which you have to pay 139 crowns per month - but you get absolutely unlimited use of the GeForce Now service. A few days after the launch of GeForce Now, the service became so popular that nVidia had to deactivate the Founders subscription - so it stopped recruiting new members. The good news is that after a few months of the Founders Edition not being available, users can now subscribe to it again. If there was no space left for you in the Founders version, you now have the opportunity to correct this error. Be sure to hurry, because it is not written anywhere that there will not be another overload, and that nVidia Founders version will not turn off!
