You have probably already seen a large number of iPhone stands, which certainly stood out with a number of functions. This one is silly, but unique in its construction. Depending on how you position it, you give the iPhone a certain inclination. That even simple ideas can be a hit is clearly shown by the ongoing Kickstarter campaign.

There is a week left until its end, the goal was to collect 8 thousand dollars. The contributors, of which there are more than 850, have already sent more than 45 to the developers. The concept is really simple. It is actually a kind of triangle (actually it is a six-sided polygon) with each side having a different length, and depending on which one you choose as the base, the inserted iPhone or any other phone will get the angle of inclination.

The very name of the product, which reads 55 66 88, clearly refers to what degrees the stand can provide - 55, 66 and 88 degrees. The creators say that the first is suitable for recording and taking pictures of things in front of you on the table, the second is suitable for video calls and the third for group video chats or if you need to present something in front of the lens. There are no mechanical parts that could be damaged by any long-term handling.

The manufacturers state that their stand is adapted for devices up to 24 mm thick, so you don't have to worry about covers either. The material used is aluminum - the manufacturers first create their own extrusion mold, through which they push several hot (but not molten) aluminum rods and create twenty-meter-long extrusions. These are cut to the required size, deburred, blasted with glass balls and anodized. The total weight is a relatively high 128 g, but it has a major effect on the overall stability, because the 88 position will also hold the iPad Pro. The diameter is 101 mm and the thickness is 70 mm.

Prices start at 33 dollars per piece (approx. 725 CZK), sets of several stands are also available with a small bonus. Shipping is worldwide and will begin in August of this year. You can learn more about the campaign on the website Kickstarter.
