If you enter the command banner -wXY WZ in the Terminal, where you replace XY with the width of the resulting work in pixels and WZ with the inscription you want to generate, you can create an interesting and eye-catching inscription in the style of ASCII art in no time. Unfortunately, for understandable reasons, the terminal cannot.

Some users may be surprised by the fact that their Mac offers native and quite good chess. Just press Cmd + Spacebar to launch Spotlight and enter Chess in the search field, or launch Finder and find native Chess in the list of applications.

Travel around the map with your finger

Are you planning your next vacation? You can already see what it will actually look like in your destination. You can also, for example, view the layout of the airport in detail at the destination station, so that you can unmistakably go for your favorite coffee after landing. Launch native Apple Maps and enter your destination. In the case of a tour of airports and other large objects, you can click on View. And if you want to virtually view your chosen destination, enter the appropriate location, zoom in on the map a little and click on binoculars icon with the inscription Look Around.

Play a musical instrument

The native Garage Band application, which is of course also available for Mac, does not have to be used only for complex music composition. You can also easily play your chosen musical instrument in it. Just launch Garage Band, start a new project, select an appropriate instrument, and you're good to go. Garage Band also offers interesting piano and guitar lessons.
