Welcome to the penultimate installment of our utilities series. Today we're going to focus again on apps that won't put a huge strain on your credit card because, as the name suggests, they're worth the money

push 3.0

We have been with you for some time now does it work, how to enable push in Gmail. However, there are various difficulties associated with this method, in addition, the instructions only work for mail from Google. Instead, Push 3.0 uses Push notifications, it handles any mailbox and doesn't stop at just mail.

Among other things, Push 3.0 also offers push notifications for Twitter and RSS. Until recently, users of the Twitter for iPhone application were deprived of this option, whereas, for example, Simple Tweet enabled notifications. After the new update, the official Twitter client can also receive notifications, however, if you use an alternative application, you will appreciate the possibilities of Push 3.0.

If you have a favorite RSS feed where you would like to be informed about every new feed, Push 3.0 will do this job as well. The only drawback will probably be the price. When you purchase the app, you get one email, Twitter account and RSS feed for free. But you have to pay for every other one. The price is €0,79 per item, or you can purchase unlimited access for €6,99.

Setting up e-mail is quite interesting. First, the application will generate your alternative email, to which you must then choose to forward your mail. Once you authorize and confirm everything, you will receive notifications the second your email runs out. In addition to the sender and the subject, a part of the message is displayed on the screen, and you can move directly from it to the application where you can read the mail. Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow the native Mail app to run.

As for Twitter, in addition to @mentions and direct messages, you can also set notifications for keywords. But be careful, they work within the whole of Twitter, not just the people you follow.

The advantage is also a large range of sounds that you can set for individual notifications. It won't happen to you that you hear that long-lost sound that you haven't changed in any way since the first version of the iPhone (that is, without Jailbreak).

WeeMee is an application that makes assigning pictures to contacts very creative and fun. You probably know that putting a photo for each of your contacts, if you don't have them imported from Facebook via one of the applications.

In WeeMee, you can create your own contact avatars. The creation starts with choosing the gender of your avatar and you gradually get through the shape of the face, hairstyle and accessories to the choice of the background. Once you have created a character to your liking, you save it to the gallery.

From there you can further share it on social networks, save it in the Pictures application, but above all assign an avatar to a contact.

Sleepmaker Pro

This application is intended primarily for insomniacs. It is scientifically proven that natural sounds, such as rain, the sound of water or the crackling of a fire, have a positive effect on problems falling asleep. The developers decided to take advantage of this fact and created an application called Sleepmaker, which could be loosely translated as “Soporific”.

The app works by creating an endless loop of these natural sounds for a time of your choosing. After that, the application becomes silent and can even terminate itself, i.e. return to the springboard. By the way, the application supports multitasking and can play a loop even in the background.

You can find Sleepmaker Pro in several editions, from rain sounds to wild nature sounds. Each of them contains 25 different sound loops, including 6 bonus sound samples from other editions. Whether you have problems sleeping or just like the atmosphere of the drumming rain outside the windows, the Sleepmaker will be an interesting investment for you.

Alarm Clock Connect

AC Connect is a kind of multifunctional application that partially tries to replace the missing Homescreen, or Widgets, which many of us would appreciate. AC Connect definitely has a lot to offer under one roof.

In the front row, the application presents itself as an alarm clock. Thanks to the native Clock app, this feature seems somewhat unnecessary to me, but so be it. If you currently have the application running "in the background", it uses local notifications to trigger the alarm.

From this main screen, you can then switch between individual widgets by dragging the desktop. Next is the weather forecast, which, in addition to the current one, will also show you the forecast for the next two days. Then we have the iPod control, where you can also select the playlist to be played. If you like to fall asleep to music, the timer menu will help you, where you can choose the time interval after which the music will turn itself off.

There is also a calendar that shows you upcoming events and even allows you to create new ones. The last two panels are dedicated to social networks, from which you can monitor the statuses of your friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter, with the option of writing your own messages to these networks.

The application is a very interesting all-in-one initiative and will partially make up for what you may have missed with the "most jailbroken" iPhone, moreover, it is presented in a wonderful graphic environment.

BiorhythmCal

As you probably guessed, these are applications that monitor your biorhythm. If you don't know what a biorhythm is, these are biological cycles that change regularly and are determined by your date of birth. Knowledge of biorhythms should help you plan your activities appropriately so that you are in the best shape at the given time. There are three basic curves – psychological, emotional and intellectual. Apart from these three, there are less important curves, in the case of our application also the intuitive curve.

Thanks to BiorhythmCal, you can monitor the current graph of these screams and their further development. Actually, not only yours, but also other people whose date of birth you enter in the application. Monitoring biorhythms is probably not a matter that would significantly affect your life, on the other hand, if, for example, you are in the critical values of the intellectual curve at a time when your mental activity does not bear fruit.

Biorhythms could perhaps be compared to the signs of the zodiac. I'll leave it up to you to judge how these things might affect your life.
