There are a number of different changes you can make to your iPhone as you use it. We mostly customize the wallpaper, ringtone, language and region, or perhaps the way content is displayed on our smartphone screen. In today's article, we will introduce five changes that are small and unobtrusive, but which can make it easier for you to use your smartphone.

Change direction when taking panoramic photos

If you are taking panoramic shots on your iPhone, by default you have to move your iPhone from left to right. But you can easily and instantly change this direction. To change the direction of movement when taking a panoramic shot, just tap the white arrow, which shows you the direction of movement.

Change the text of the predefined message

Among the useful functions offered by the iOS operating system is the possibility of replying with the help of a predefined message. By default, you have the options "I can't talk now", "I'm on my way" and "Can I call you later?", but you can easily change these messages. Just in Settings -> Phone -> Reply with message tap into text field, which you need to change.

Shortcuts for emoji

Do you often use emoji when typing on your iPhone, but don't always want to search for individual symbols or use the search function that is part of the keyboard in newer versions of the iOS operating system? You can set shortcuts, i.e. text, after entering which the selected emoticon will automatically appear. You can set shortcuts in Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Text Replacement.

Reading the text

If you highlight any text on your iPhone and tap on it, you'll see a menu with options like copy and more. You can also add a text read aloud feature to these options. You can activate this option by running on your iPhone Settings -> Accessibility -> Read content, where you activate the option Read the selection.

Changing the code type

There are several ways to secure your iPhone. In addition to security with the help of the Face ID function (or Touch ID on selected models), it is also a numerical lock. If you want to take the security of your iPhone even further, you can use an alphanumeric passcode instead of a numeric lock. Run on your iPhone Settings -> Face ID (or Touch ID) and code -> Change lock code. Then tap on the blue text Code options and select in the menu Custom alphanumeric code.
