Deactivation of 5G for longer battery life

As for Apple phones, the latest ones are currently the iPhone 12. In addition to many different innovations, Apple has finally added support for the 5G network to all "twelves". Abroad, and especially in the USA, the 5G network is already very widespread, but the same cannot be said about, for example, the Czech Republic, where 5G can only be found in a few selected cities. In any case, the biggest problem when using 5G is battery life. On the one hand, Apple had to reduce the overall battery capacity due to the integration of 5G, and on the other hand, the battery drains more even with the constant switching between 4G/LTE and 5G, which can occur. Although there is a kind of smart mode in iOS that can determine whether switching to a 5G network is worth it in terms of battery life, it is not perfect either. To disable 5G completely, go to Settings -> Mobile data -> Data options -> Voice and data, where you check LTE.

Change font size

By default, iOS has the ideal font size set for most of us – but it may not suit some individuals. Older users may want to increase the font size, younger users may want to decrease the font size. Fortunately, this is not a problem either, as the system has an option to change the font size. To change the font size, on your iPhone, go to Settings, where below tap the option Display and brightness. Then scroll all the way down here and click on the option text size, where are you using? slider set the size. The font size is immediately reflected on the text at the top of the screen. In addition to the size, you can also make the font bold - just activate the option Bold font.

When you first fire up your new iPhone, most of you immediately rush to download countless different applications. After downloading and launching a new application, you must always allow access to certain services or data on your Apple phone - most often, these are, for example, photos, microphone, Bluetooth and others. However, not every application necessarily needs to have access to photos, and on top of that, privacy security is currently a very hot topic. If you want to check for individual applications, or reset which services or data they have access to, go to Settings, where to get off below and click the option Privacy. Here you just need to move to a certain one categories, and then to application, in which you want to change your privacy settings.

Elements in Control Center

Within iOS, you can open the Control Center, where you can quickly perform various actions - such as turning mobile data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on or off, changing the volume and brightness, starting the flashlight, opening the calculator, and much more. In the default setting, for example, there is no option to activate power saving mode or to record the screen. If you want to add certain elements to the control center, or if you want to change their background, it is not difficult. Just go to Settings, where you click the option Control Center. You just need to get off here below and by using + certain elements add, or by tapping on – remove. You can then change the order by holding your finger on in the right part of a certain element three lines, and then move it to where you want it. The order here is determined from the top left corner. At the top, you can then set the control center to (not) display home controls.
