Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming services in the world. Shared playlists

Spotify is the perfect streaming service that makes it easy to create different playlists. If you have some friends added to Spotify, you can even create a so-called joint playlist. It differs from the classic one in that other users with whom you share the playlist can also add songs to it. If you want to create a joint playlist, go to Spotify in the bottom menu Your library. Then click here Create a playlist. After entering the name, all you have to do is tap on the right three dots icon, and then selected an option from the menu Mark as common. You can do the same with already existing playlists. If you want to change the playlist back to classic, follow the same procedure, just select the option in the menu Remove common status.

Playback on other devices

One of the biggest downsides to using Apple Music is that you can't simply change the source you want the music to play from. So, for example, if you want to simply switch the source from iPhone to Mac in Apple Music, it is not possible (only via AirPlay). In this case, Spotify has the upper hand, as you can easily switch sources in it, including Mac or MacBook and other devices. If you want to change the source in Spotify, the procedure is very simple - just switch to music players, and then at the bottom left tap on computer icon. It's simply enough here select device on which to start playback. You can then close the window.

Delete the cache

Spotify is one of the few applications where you can clear the cache by simply pressing a single button. The cache memory can gradually fill up with various data and if you don't clear it from time to time, it can have up to several gigabytes, which are definitely good for other data. If you want to delete the cache in Spotify, go to the application and then click on the tab at the bottom left Home. Here then in the upper right click on gear icon. Then click on the option in the menu storage, where to delete the cache click the button Clear cache. After that, just press to confirm the action in the dialog box Clear cache.

Private session

If you've ever used Spotify without a subscription, you know that there were ads in between songs. One of these ads says that Spotify is better with friends. That's right - many features can be used with friends, including showing what you or your friends are listening to. However, there are certain situations where you don't want others to see what you're listening to - it could be because of a difficult time you're trying to overcome with music, or for any other reason. If you want to activate the so-called private session, during which others cannot see what you are listening to, go to the section in Spotify in the bottom menu Home. Here then in the upper right click on gear icon, and then move to the section Social networks. That's enough here activate function Private session. After that, none of your friends can see what you're listening to.

Restore playlists

Have you accidentally deleted a playlist? If you answered yes to this question, you may think that there is no turning back. Unfortunately, Spotify doesn't have a Recently Deleted section like the native Photos app, but there's still an option to restore playlists outside of the app. If you want to restore deleted playlists, then move to the Spotify web interface a sign in with. After logging in, just tap on at the top right your profile, and then select an option Account. Then move to the section in the left menu Refresh playlists.
