We will look together at 5 more tips and tricks for the very popular Waze navigation application. You can find the first 5 tips on our sister site Apple Around the World, just click the link below. You can then find the next 5 tips in this article. So be sure to check them all out to become a master of Waze.

Type of vehicle

Most users use Waze for navigation in a classic car, of course. However, it should be noted that cars are not the only vehicles that can move on the road. In addition to cars, it can be motorcycles. Even motorcyclists can use navigation while riding a motorcycle, there is absolutely nothing stopping them from doing so. The same applies to taxi drivers, who may know their surroundings very well, but navigation can still come in handy. If you are one of the motorcyclists or taxi drivers who use Waze, don't forget to customize the application. You can do so simply by clicking on Lupu at the bottom right, and then click on Sprocket top left. Now move to the section in the menu Navigation, where you get off completely Dolu and tap the option Type of vehicle. Here, you just need to switch from personal to motorcycle, or on Taxi. The routes will then be adjusted according to the means you choose.

Maximum speed allowed

Exceeding the speed limit is one of the most common offences. Whether the driver exceeds the speed limit intentionally or unintentionally, when stopped by the police, the punishment in the form of a fine or the addition of points will not spare him. Even though Waze warns you by displaying an icon on the display when you exceed the maximum speed, users simply don't have to notice it. However, there is an option in Waze that allows you to change the speed limit warning. Just tap on the bottom left magnifying glass icon, and then at the top left on gear icon. In the menu, then move below to the section Tachometer, which you click. Here you then in the category Speedy limit you can change the notices that apply to it. In the section Show speed limit you can choose when the speed limit will be shown on the display, below in the section When to notify you can then set when the speed limit is announced. Below then you will find the function Play warning sound – if you activate it, you will be informed about this fact when the limit is exceeded warning sound.

Difficult intersections

Let's face it, not all of us are necessarily good drivers - and gender certainly doesn't matter in this case. Unfortunately, there are many different difficult intersections on the roads, which even an experienced driver, let alone someone who still has a "wet driver's license", has trouble knowing. You can set your Waze app to avoid these difficult intersections altogether. You may drive a few hundred meters or a few kilometers extra, but on the other hand, you will feel safe and not endanger anyone. If you want to activate this function, in the Waze application, click on the bottom left magnifying glass icon, and then at the top left on gear icon. Now you just need to go to the section named in the settings Navigation, where activate function Avoid difficult intersections. In addition, you can also set it here avoidance with ferries or highways.

Planned rides

If you often go to some meetings, or if you simply write all your trips together with the place of the event carefully in the calendar, then you will like the Waze function called Planned trips. With this function, you can synchronize events from your calendar with the Waze application. If you have set a venue for individual events, Waze will read and save it. As soon as the event occurs, Waze will notify you 10 minutes before you have to leave. At the same time, it takes into account the current situation on the road - it adds to the time, for example, traffic jams, accidents or other complications on the road. If you want to set this function, in the Waze application, click on the bottom left magnifying glass icon, and then at the top left, tap gear icon. Once you've done that, go down the menu below and click the box Planned rides. Here after connect your Kalendář whether events from Facebook, Choose alert type and it is done. Waze will then notify you as I stated above.

Gas station

In addition to the fact that Waze can perfectly navigate you where you need to go, it also offers countless other functions. One of these "extra features" includes, for example, information about gas stations. In the Waze application, you can set your preferred gas stations. In addition, you can also set your fuel type - thanks to this, the price of your fuel will appear on the map, and at the same time, Waze will direct you only to those stations that have your fuel type (which is especially useful for LPG vehicles). If you want to adjust the gas station settings in Waze, click on at the bottom left magnifying glass icon, and then at the top left on gear icon. Then go down something in the menu below and tap the option Gas station. Here you are in the section Fuel type set your fuel, below in the section Preferred gas station then choose the brand of the station at which you primarily want to refuel. You can then set it up below station sorting, together with by displaying the price update window.
