Apple operating systems, like most not only native applications, are constantly evolving. The Safari web browser, which can be found in all Apple products, is certainly no exception in this case. The Safari browser is primarily based on user security and privacy, but it is definitely not one of the slowest either - in fact, on the contrary. All kinds of tricks that users don't need to know are abundant in this application as well. If you'd like to learn more about 5 tips for iPhone Safari, you've come to the right place.

Fast scrolling

If you find yourself on a "long" web page, scrolling up or down can be very tedious. Classically, to move on a web page, you have to perform a swipe gesture from bottom to top or from top to bottom. This means that if you want to go all the way up, or all the way down, you need to frantically slide your finger across the screen. But it is also simpler. Just move a bit up or down on the "long" web page and it will appear on the right slider. If on it for a while hold your finger so after a while you will be able to move it up or down, just like on a Mac. In this way, you can scroll quickly on the page, without the need to use gestures.

Opening accidentally closed panels

On the iPhone, you can open several different panels within Safari, which comes in handy in countless different situations. However, when managing open panels, it may simply happen that you close an open panel by mistake. In many cases, this is nothing terrible, in any case, you may have something important open on the panel, or something that you have been looking for for a long time. The engineers at Apple thought of these situations as well and added a function to Safari that can reopen accidentally closed panels. All you have to do is tap on the bottom right in Safari two squares icon, which will bring you to the panel overview. Here, at the bottom of the screen, hold your finger on icon +, and then from the menu that appears, select a panel, that you want to reopen.

Disable location access

In Safari, some websites may ask you to allow them to access your location data. You can most often encounter this phenomenon when searching for a business on Google, or perhaps when choosing a shipping method when creating an order. However, if you're one of those people who are worried about being tracked when you allow access to your location, then you might not want this option to show up at all. If you'd like to completely disable Safari's location data access requirements, go to Settings, where click below Privacy. Then tap on Location services and further down find and click Sites in Safari. All you have to do here is check the option Never.

Translating web pages

If you follow the events in the apple world, you may have noticed that with the arrival of iOS 14, Apple introduced a native Translator application. In addition to the fact that this application serves as a classic translator, thanks to it you can also translate web pages... but unfortunately not in the Czech Republic, or rather into the Czech language. For some reason, only a few basic languages are available in the Translator, and the less common ones were somehow neglected by the Californian giant. However, you can use the free Microsoft Translator application, which works perfectly and especially for the Czech language. After downloading, just v Microsoft Translator set Czech as the language for translation. Then, once you're on the page you want to translate in Safari, tap the share icon, then select Translator below to translate the page. You can find the complete setup procedure in this article, or in the gallery below.

Close all panels

As already mentioned above, within Safari on the iPhone, you can also use panels, among other things. If you really use the panels to the maximum, then it is quite possible that in a few days you have several dozen of them open and you stop orienting yourself in them. For a "fresh start", of course, it is enough to close all the panels, but it is definitely not an option to close them manually with the help of a cross - it is tedious and, above all, we live in a time when there is no time for anything. If you want to quickly close all panels, click at the bottom of Safari two squares icon, and then hold your finger on the button All done. This will bring up a small menu where you tap on Close x panels, which will close all panels.
