Apple offers several native applications in its operating systems, many of which are definitely worth trying. Some users use these native applications primarily, but there are also those who simply despise them. One of the native apps that users either love or hate is Notes. Let's take a look together in this article at a total of 5 tips and tricks in Notes that Apple added as part of iOS 15.

Change the view of notes

If you go to the native Notes app and open a folder, all notes will be displayed in a classic list below, sorted from newest to oldest. This view is probably fine for most users, but in some competing apps you may have noticed a view where all notes are displayed in a grid along with a preview. However, many users don't know that you can also switch Notes to this view. So just move to specific folders, then tap on the top right icon of three dots in a circle and then select an option View as gallery.

Note activity

One of the great features that Notes offers is undoubtedly the ability to share. With just a few taps, you can share any note with anyone who owns an Apple device. The person in question can then work in different ways in the notes – add and remove content and make other adjustments. However, if you share a note with several users, after a while it can be difficult to find out what all the changes were made by the person concerned. As part of iOS 15, however, you can now view the activity of the note, in which all changes are clearly displayed. To view a note's activity, hover over it, then tap at the top right stick figure icon with sharing. Then just press the option from the menu View all activity. If necessary, you can also use the option Show highlights.

Use of Brands

As in the native Reminders app, tags are now available in Notes. They work in exactly the same way as on social networks and thus group together all the records that have the brand under them. So if you are dealing with your car within several notes and add a brand to them #car, then, thanks to the tag, you can view all notes with this tag together. You can place the tag anywhere in the body of the note by using cross, Tedy #, for which you write descriptive word. You can view all notes with the selected tag by clicking on home page tap at the bottom of the category Brand na specific brand.

Creation of dynamic components

I mentioned on the previous page that it is possible to use tags in Notes from iOS 15. These are related to one more new feature, which is dynamic folders that work directly with tags. Dynamic folders differ from classic ones in that they automatically display those notes that are provided with predetermined tags. In this way, you can easily filter out notes in which you are dealing with the already mentioned car, or you can also filter out notes that have several tags at once. You create a dynamic folder by: main page in Notes, tap on the bottom left icon folders with a + icon. Then choose kam to save the note, and then tap the option New dynamic folder. Then you have a folder name, select tags and tap on Done at the top right.

View all attachments

In addition to text, you can also add other forms of content to individual notes, such as various images, videos, documents, and other attachments. From time to time you may find yourself in a situation where you need to quickly find a specific attachment. Classically, you would most likely open one note after another and start looking for a specific attachment. However, this procedure is unnecessarily complicated, as you can simply view all attachments from all notes side by side. The procedure is simple - just go to specific folders, and then at the top right, tap icon of three dots in a circle. Then select from the menu View attachments, which will display all attachments from the folder.
