In our magazine, for several long months, we have been focusing on the news that we have received in the new operating systems from Apple. Specifically, the latest versions of the operating systems iOS and iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 belong to them - but of course most of you already know that. Anyway, I don't need to remind you that we have new functions in these systems, which are easy to get used to. We have already covered the biggest functions, but now we regularly bring you articles in which we also show not-so-significant news from some native applications. In this article, we'll take a look at the tips and tricks in Voice Recorder from iOS 15 together.

Omission of silent passages in records

When you record a recording using Voice Recorder or other similar third-party applications, you may find yourself in a situation where there is a silent passage. When playing, it is therefore necessary to wait unnecessarily until you get through this silent passage, or you have to move manually, which of course is not entirely ideal. However, as part of Dictaphone from iOS 15, we received a new function that makes it possible to easily skip silent passages from recordings. You just have to Dictaphone find specific record, on which click and then press at it settings icon. Here it is simply enough activate possibility Skip the silence.

Improved recording quality

Most of the applications that are used to take audio recordings include a function to automatically improve the quality of the recordings. Some apps can even automatically enhance the recording in real time right while recording. Until recently, this function was missing from the native Voice Recorder on the iPhone, but now it is part of it. It can help you if there is noise, cracking or any other disturbing sounds in the recording. To activate the option to improve the recording quality, it is necessary that you find in the Dictaphone specific record, on which click and then press at it settings icon. Here it is simply enough activate possibility Improve record.

Changing the playback speed of recordings

For example, if you have recorded a lesson at school or a meeting or a meeting at work, you may find out after playback that people speak too slowly or too fast. But the native Dictaphone can now handle even that. There is an option directly in it, with which you can easily change the playback speed of the recording. There's slow down, of course, but also speed up - this is useful, for example, if you're looking for a passage but can't remember when it was recorded. To change the playback speed of the recording, move to the Dictaphone where you can find specific record, on which click and then press at it settings icon. You can find it here slider, with which you can change the playback speed. After changing the speed, a blue line will appear on the slider, indicating how much you have changed the speed.

Mass sharing of records

All the recordings you make in the native Dictaphone application for iPhone can then be shared with anyone, which is absolutely great. Although these recordings are shared in M4A format, if you share them with anyone who owns an Apple device, there will definitely be no problem with playback. And if someone doesn't manage to play the recording, just run it through a converter. Until recently, you could share all recordings from the Dictaphone one at a time, but if you needed to share more than one, you were unfortunately unable to do so, as this option did not exist. This has now changed in iOS 15, and if you want to share recordings in bulk, then move to voice recorder, where then click the button at the top right Edit. Then on the left side of the screen tick the records you want to share, and then press the bottom left share button. Then you'll find yourself in the sharing interface, where you're good to go choose a sharing method.

Recordings from Apple Watch

The native Diktafon application is available on practically all Apple devices – you can find it on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and even the Apple Watch. As for the Apple Watch, the Dictaphone is very useful here, as it is not necessary to have an iPhone or other device with you to record a recording. As soon as you create a recording in Dictaphone on Apple Watch, you can of course play it back on it. However, the good news is that you can view and play all the recordings from the Apple Watch in Dictaphone on the iPhone, as it is synchronized. It is enough that you Dictaphone in the top left tap on icon >, and then clicked on the section Recordings from the watch.
