Along with the arrival of the iOS 15 operating system, owners of iOS devices also saw a number of changes in the Safari internet browser. In it, you will now find not only some changes in terms of design, but also a handful of new interesting functions. Here are five tips and tricks that will help you enjoy Safari in iOS 15 even more.

Change the position of the address bar

One of the most visible changes to Safari in iOS 15 is the move of the address bar to the bottom of the display. However, not everyone likes this location, and if the address bar at the top of the display is more convenient for you, you can easily change it - to on the left side of the address bar click on Aa and then just choose Show the top row of panels.

Customize the panel row

New in Safari in iOS 15, you can set panels so that you can easily and quickly switch between them by swiping left or right on the address bar. Run on your iPhone to rearrange the panels Settings -> Safari. Go ahead to the panels section and check the option here A row of panels.

Toning pages

The iOS operating system now enables so-called page toning in Safari, in which the background of the top bar automatically matches the color of the top of the given web page. Apple is apparently excited about this feature, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for all users. If the tinting of the pages bothers you too, you can deactivate it in Settings -> Safari, where in the section Panels you deactivate the item Enable page tinting.

macOS-style tabs and swipe-to-restore

Safari in the iOS 15 operating system allows the ability to set panels in the same style that you may know from the Safari browser in the macOS operating system when viewed horizontally. You can more easily switch between the panels displayed in this way by swiping. Another new feature is a gesture with which you can refresh an open web page - just briefly drag the panel with the page downwards.

Private transfer

If you care about your privacy, you can also activate a feature called Private Transfer in Safari in iOS 15. Thanks to this tool, your IP address, location data and other sensitive information will be hidden. If you want to activate Private Transfer, start on your iPhone Settings -> Panel with your name -> iCloud -> Private Transfer.
