Setting parameters for a specific web page
It's common knowledge that Apple goes to great lengths to ensure the privacy of its users, and Safari is no different. In order for certain websites to access your microphone, camera, location, play sound in the background, or show pop-ups, you need to enable everything in your browser first. To set the necessary parameters open the page for which you want to change the settings, and then click the bold tab Safari -> Settings for this website. There are almost no limits to customization at this point, so using a particular site should not be limiting for you in any way.
Change the default search engine
Almost everyone has wondered at some point how much data companies collect about them and how much they use to personalize ads. Google is pre-set as the default search engine on Apple devices, but it is not completely trustworthy in terms of privacy. Change the download folder
In both Windows and macOS, a folder is automatically created where all files downloaded from the Internet using the browser are downloaded. However, I find this folder inconvenient as I need my downloads to sync across all my devices. So if you want to change the destination folder for downloads, click on the tab at the top again in Safari Safari -> Preferences, Next, view the card In general and click the icon Location of downloaded files. Finally, choose the destination folder where you would like to download the files, for example Download on iCloud.
Installing browser extensions
To make using Safari or certain services more enjoyable, it doesn't hurt to install some extensions that are specifically suited for your work. Most of these extensions are available for Google Chrome, but you can also find some for Safari. Click above to install Safari -> Safari Extensions. It will open up to you App Store with extensions for Safari, where the necessary is enough locate and install. After installation tap on open a follow the instructions on the screen. If, on the other hand, you want to disable or uninstall a certain extension, there is again a simple procedure for this. You do everything by switching to Apple icon -> Safari -> Extensions.
