Many iPhone and iPad owners use the Safari web browser on their smart mobile devices. A similarly popular option is the Google browser. In today's article, we'll bring you five interesting tips and tricks for even better use of the Google Chrome browser on your iOS or iPadOS device.

Synchronization across devices

By connecting through your Google account, you can also set up Google Chrome synchronization across all your devices, which has a lot of advantages – for example, you can continue viewing a page you opened in Chrome on a Mac on your iPhone. Click the icon to sync three dots at the bottom right. Click on Settings -> Sync and Google services and activate the item Synchronize Google browser data. Under this item, next tap on Synchronization management and selects the items you want to sync.

Saving passwords and automatic filling

Other advantages of the Google Chrome internet browser include the ability to save passwords and automatically fill in relevant data. If you want to activate these options, click on the bottom right three dots icon and select Settings. In the menu that appears, click on the items one by one Passwords, Payment Methods and Addresses and more and choose which elements you want to enable save and autofill.

Translating web pages

You can also use the useful website translation feature in Google Chrome on your iPhone or iPad. To translate any web page, simply click on the page the three dots icon at the bottom right av menu, which appears to you, select it Translate. To change the target and default language afterwards top left click on translator icon and enter the required information.

Voice search

You can also use voice search in your Google Chrome browser on your iPad or iPhone. As such, voice search also works in Czech, but if you also require voice answers, you will have to make do with English, for example. You can set up voice search by tapping on three dots icon bottom right -> Settings -> Voice Search.

 

Card management and anonymous mode

Even in its version for iPhone and iPad, the Google Chrome browser offers a lot of options for working with tabs. If on bottom bar click on square icon with a number, you get to overview of previews of all currently open cards, which you can move, close or open. IN top of the tab screen then you will find options to go into anonymous mode or to switch to an overview of the cards you have open on other devices.
