Hold the back buttons

In some apps, you can go into the depths of preferences and options - for example, in Settings. You certainly know that to quickly move back a section, you just need to swipe your finger from the left edge of the display to the right, or to go back forward again from the right edge of the display to the left. However, there is an easier way to choose exactly which of the levels you want to get to. Specifically, just enough in the upper left corner, hold the back button, which will then be displayed directly to you menu, where you can now move.

Removing a single digit in Calculator

Every iPhone includes the native Calculator application, which can calculate basic operations in portrait mode, but switches to an extended form in landscape mode. However, Apple users have been puzzling over how to correct (or delete) the last written value so that the entire number does not have to be rewritten for a long time. Many users think that this is not possible, but the opposite is true. All you have to do is swipe left to right or right to left after the currently entered number, which deletes the last number written.

Quickly switch from letters to numbers

Most users use the native keyboard to type on the iPhone. Although she doesn't know much in Czech, she is still reliable, fast and simply good. If you are currently writing some text and need to insert numbers into it, you will certainly always tap the 123 key at the bottom left, then enter the number through the top row, and then switch back. But what if I told you that it is possible to write numbers without this switch? Instead of pressing hold down the 123 key, and then your finger scroll directly to a specific number, which you want to insert. Once the finger you pick up, the number is entered immediately. This is how you can quickly enter a single number into the text.

Hidden trackpad

Despite the fact that most Apple users use automatic text correction on the iPhone, we sometimes find ourselves in a situation where we need to edit some text. However, for some apple users, it can be a nightmare to edit, for example, just one character in a long text. Exactly in this case, however, you just need to use the so-called virtual trackpad, with which you can precisely aim the cursor, and then easily rewrite what is needed. If you have iPhone XS and older, to activate the virtual trackpad by pressing anywhere on the keyboard, na iPhone 11 and later then that's enough hold your finger on the space bar. The keyboard surface then turns into a kind of trackpad that you can follow move your finger and change the cursor position.

A pat on the back

Apple phones currently offer three physical buttons – two on the left for volume control and one on the right (or top) for powering on or off. However, if you have an iPhone 8 and later, you should know that you can activate two more "buttons" that can do different, predetermined functions. Specifically, we are talking about the tap on the back function, where an action can be performed when you double or triple tap on the back. To set it up, just go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap. Then choose here Double tapping or Triple tap, and then check the action you want to perform. There are classic system actions and access actions, but in addition to them, you can also call up a shortcut by double-clicking.
