The original Koi Pond application from the Blim Pilots workshop is no longer available in the App Store. It was priced at $0,99 and was a realistic shot of a koi pond. The app was responsive to touch, offered a lot of customization options, and its iPad version became popular among cat owners, among others.

Texas Hold'em

Texas Hold'em from Zynga took the imaginary second place of the most downloaded paid applications in the first year of the App Store. Today, you can find it in the App Store as a free title with in-app purchases. Zynga Poker continues to enjoy relatively good ratings from users, and offers a lot of new features.

Motorcycle Chaser

Unfortunately, the Moto Chaser application is currently not available in the Czech App Store. It was a fun racing game from Freeverse where players could enjoy motorcycle racing with everything including dangerous jumps. Control was carried out by tilting the phone.

Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart 3D

Crash Bandicoot is a popular console game, so it is not surprising that its version for iPhones also met with great popularity. Unfortunately, you can no longer find this title in the App Store either. Players could choose from more than a dozen fun racing tracks and compete against a wide variety of opponents. Similar to Moto Chaser, it was also possible to use the tilt of the iPhone in this game.

Super Monkey Ball

The top five most downloaded paid apps in the first year of the App Store's existence is rounded off by SEGA's Super Monkey Ball. It was a fun "running" platformer starring cute monkeys. The original version of Super Monkey Ball can no longer be found in the App Store today, but you can play the title Super Monkey Ball: Sakura.
