Virtually all competing e-mail clients offer a function to schedule the sending of e-mail. This means that you write an email, but you don't send it right away, but you set it to be sent automatically the next day, or at any other time. This function is finally available in Mail from iOS 16. If you would like to use it, simply go to the interface to create a new email and fill in all the details. After that hold your finger on the blue arrow to send and be yourself choose one of two preset times, or by tapping on Send later… select an exact date and time.

Quite possibly, you have already found yourself in a situation where, immediately after sending an e-mail, you noticed that you forgot to attach an attachment, for example, that you did not add someone to the copy or that you made a mistake in the text. That's exactly why it offers e-mail clients, thanks to iOS 16 they already include Mail, a function for canceling the sending of an e-mail, for a few seconds after sending. To use this trick, just tap at the bottom of the screen after sending Cancel send.
Setting the send cancellation time
On the previous page, we showed you how to unsend an email, which will definitely come in handy. Anyway, the default setting is that you have a total of 10 seconds to cancel the send. However, if this is not enough for you, you should know that you can extend the deadline. You just need to go to Settings → Mail → Time to cancel sending, where you just have to choose from 10 seconds, 20 seconds or 30 seconds. Alternatively, of course, you can completely disable the function turn off.

Email reminder
Chances are you've found yourself in a situation where you've opened an email that you just don't have time to reply to. You tell yourself that you will answer it, for example, at home or at work, or simply when you find the time. However, since you have already opened the email, you will most likely simply forget about it. However, in iOS 16, a new function is coming to Mail, thanks to which it is possible to have the email reminded again. It's enough that you they ran their finger over it from left to right, and then chose the option Later. After that, you just choose the time after which the e-mail should be automatically reminded.

Improved links in email
If you are going to write a new e-mail, you should know that the display of links in the Mail application has been improved. In the event that you want to add a link to a website to someone in an e-mail, a simple hyperlink will no longer be displayed, but a preview of the specific website will be displayed immediately, which will simplify the operation. However, to use this trick, of course, the other party, i.e. the recipient, must also use the Mail application.
