If you are planning a trip in the summer, you are most likely interested in what the weather will be like. If it rains or if there are thunderstorms, it is logical that in most cases you prefer to postpone the trip to a date when the sun will be shining. Of course, various applications can help you with this, of which there are several available in iOS. However, so that you don't have to try them all, we have prepared a list of the five best weather monitoring apps for you. Various radars are also very popular, with which you can view storm clouds. We will also look at such applications. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves unnecessarily and look at all five applications individually.

1. Meteor radar

The Meteoradar application is very popular in the Czech Republic. If you ask someone what weather app they use, the most likely answer is Meteoradar. And no wonder. Meteoradar is a really great app that serves its purpose. On the one hand, you can of course have the weather forecast displayed, and on the other hand, a clear map showing precipitation clouds is also available. The overall design of the application falters slightly, but as I mentioned in the introduction, the application definitely fulfills its purpose. I can confirm from my own experience that the Meteoradar application is great.

2. Ventusky

Ventusky is an application from Czech developers that is also very popular in the country. This is mainly due to the news that many other applications do not have. In addition to the classic forecast, there is also the option of displaying a radar with rain clouds or temperature maps. In addition, there is, for example, a display of the feeling temperature and a new function that can detect the movement of storm clouds more accurately using computer simulations. The Ventusky app will cost you 79 crowns in the App Store. However, for this price, you get an application where you can find such features and other options that other applications do not offer.

3. Live weather

You will definitely like this app at first sight for one reason only – the design side. It is absolutely great and especially modern. After starting the application, you can immediately see how many degrees it is and what the weather is like. All this is complemented by a pleasant background image. Of course, the application is also great in terms of functionality, but in the free version you will not find animated forecast maps, and you will also see ads. If you prefer design over other apps, Weather Live is what you're looking for. For a small extra fee, you get additional features that will definitely come in handy.

4. Yr.no

Yr.no is my personal favorite and I use this app most often to track the weather. It conveys information from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. You can then view them directly in the Yr.no application. Personally, I have to say that I like the application both in terms of design and functionality. I have to say that in the several months I've been using Yr.no, I've almost never had the app display a bad forecast. She hit the target almost every time, and when she didn't, it was only by an hour or so. In addition to the forecast, the application also includes several maps and charts in a clear layout. I can definitely recommend Yr.no after long-term experience.

5. iRadar CZ+

iRadar CZ+ is an application for true connoisseurs. Behind it is a private Czech developer who decided to take weather monitoring applications to a whole new level. Are you interested in, for example, data in the form of soil temperature, pressure measurements, or sounding measurements? If so, then iRadar CZ+ is right for you. For an ordinary person, this application is rather unusable, but if you are interested in the weather in more depth, then you have now found the right nut. The design of the application is also not amazing, but that can be forgiven.

Weather tracking apps are truly countless and it's perfectly normal for each of us to use a different one. I decided to put 5 of the most popular apps in this article. If your app isn't here, it's definitely not because it doesn't work - it just hasn't made it to the rankings. In return, you can tell us in the comments what app you use to track the weather.
