Apple makes quality and reliable products, but of course that doesn't mean they are completely flawless. Apple device users will surely tell me the truth when I say that from time to time we simply have to deal with some kind of error, both on the iPhone, iPad and Mac, as well as on the Apple Watch. In this article, we will look together at the 5 most common problems with the Apple Watch and how you can solve them. Let's get straight to the point.

Mac won't unlock

Do you own a Mac in addition to an Apple Watch? If yes, then you know that there are many different ways to unlock it. You can use a classic password, but if you have a newer MacBook, you can unlock it using Touch ID. However, there is also an option for automatic unlocking if you have an unlocked Apple Watch on your wrist. But it often happens that this function stops working properly. If you have already deactivated and activated the function itself on your Mac, then check Wrist Detection, which must be turned on. It often happens that the function switch gets stuck and appears to be active, even though it is turned off. Wrist detection you can (de)activate on the iPhone in the app Watch, where you go to My watch → Code.

Slow system

Do you own an older Apple Watch? Alternatively, you have a newer Apple Watch, but it's slow? If you answered yes, then I have one super tip for you, which is guaranteed to help, in all cases. When you browse (and not only) the watchOS operating system, you can notice various effects and animations that are performed automatically. But the truth is that these effects and animations both use hardware resources that could be used for something else, and they take some time to execute. All in all, the slowness is more than noticeable. Fortunately, effects and animations can be turned off, just go to Apple Watch to Settings → Accessibility → Restrict movement, where the function activate.

Unable to connect to iPhone

Is it happening that your Apple Watch cannot connect to your Apple phone? If so, believe me, there can be several reasons. Primarily make sure you have it on both devices Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on, hence that you don't have Airplane mode active. If you meet all of the above, then do it restart both Apple Watch and iPhone, by classic switching off and on. If the error has not been corrected even after that, the Apple Watch will need to be completely replaced reset to factory settings and perform the entire pairing procedure again. Although this is the most fundamental step you can do, there is not much data directly on the Apple Watch, as it is mirrored from the iPhone, so the reset will not hurt you so much. After resetting, you have everything back in a few minutes. You do this by going to the Apple Watch you go to Settings → General → Reset → Erase data and settings.

Screenshots will not be displayed

Do you have the screenshot feature enabled on your Apple Watch? If so, then you know that the images are not stored in the storage of the watch, but in the storage of the paired iPhone. But of course he has to get here somehow. Unfortunately, sometimes screenshots simply don't arrive in your Apple phone's storage, which can be frustrating. In that case, make sure you have active Bluetooth, and that you are on the same Wi-Fi network. I personally succeeded in such a situation open the Camera on the iPhone and take any picture, which will trigger synchronization. Alternatively, you can sync, if available, manually call up on iPhone in Photos, by scrolling all the way down and tapping on Continue.

Screen not lighting up after raising wrist

If you want to light up the display on your Apple Watch, you can use several procedures. To light up the display, just touch it with your finger or turn the digital crown. However, most of us use the display to automatically turn on when we raise our wrist upwards. However, it happens that this function stops working as expected, or that it stops working completely. In that case, you usually just need to execute deactivation and reactivation function Wake up by raising your wrist. You can find this feature in the Watch app by going to My watch → Display and brightness.
