Specifically, 34% of those who opted for Android instead of iOS switched to it for this very reason. So nothing is completely one-sided. Both systems are different in some ways, and while iOS may suit some, it may not be so pleasant for others.

Although the Apple operating system is criticized on the one hand for its overall closedness, it is also necessary to take into account its security advantages, which stem from this difference. On paper, Apple phones are weaker than their competitors. This can be seen beautifully, for example, with the RAM operating memory - the iPhone 13 has 4 GB, while the Samsung Galaxy S22 has 8 GB - or the camera, where Apple still bets on a 12 Mpx sensor, while the competition has been exceeding the 50 Mpx limit for years. Even so, 42% of respondents switched from Android to iOS precisely because of the hardware. But he probably won't be alone in this. More likely, Apple benefits from an overall good optimization of hardware and software, which is again related to the first mentioned point, or overall functionality.
Security and virus protection
As we have already mentioned, Apple generally relies on the maximum security and privacy of its users, which is also reflected in individual products. For 42% of respondents, it was one of the key attributes offered by iPhones. Overall, this is also related to the share of iOS devices on the market, which are significantly fewer than Android devices - in addition, they enjoy long-term support. This makes it easier for attackers to target Android users. On the one hand, there are more of them and they can possibly use one of the security loopholes of older versions of the operating system.
In this, the Apple iOS system also benefits from its already mentioned closedness. In particular, you cannot install applications from unofficial sources (only from the official App Store), while every app is closed in a so-called sandbox. In this case, it is separated from the rest of the system and thus cannot attack it.
Battery life?
The last, most frequently mentioned point is battery life. But it is quite interesting in this respect. Overall, 36% of respondents said that they switched from Android to iOS due to battery life and efficiency, but the same is true on the other side as well. Specifically, 36% of Apple users switched to Android for exactly the same reason. In any case, the truth is that Apple often faces considerable criticism for its battery life. In this respect, however, it depends on each user and their method of use.

Another thing is that it is a much more accessible application and free of charge... If you have appliances connected to your phone, this is also a great thing!!! As for the iPhone, there are a lot of things that are paid for!!! In order to be able to connect headphones, watches or appliances to Apple, everything must be from Apple!!! Apple design is zero for me!!! As for memory, apple has only one virtual memory, whereas android has several!!! Just like I said... Everyone has their pros and cons!!! But when I'm deciding on Android, definitely Samsung - it has its own tradition!!! And one more thing that concerns Samsung and what iPhone doesn't have is that if you have a Samsung and you run out of battery, you need one of your friends and there is no way to charge your phone, so your phone has a function something like a power bank - a charging station and if the other phone supports wireless charged, thanks to the fact that you have a Samsung, you can charge your phone without having to find a cable or a power bank!!! And that's a big one for me!!!
In the back, you have to take into account how many devices run on the Android system. Register your iPhone there, and within two days you won't even open a photo, as it will be blocked. The comparison here is incomparable.. The only advantage of the iPhone is that they have their own OS, so they are minimally affected...
Nothing against it, but I switched from iOS to Android. The reason is quite simple and that is overall compatibility with non-Apple devices. The absence of USB-C, the low resolution of the camera and overall delayed product development compared to the competition. It's not the wow it used to be.
