The HealthLynked app offers a tool to track the spread of the coronavirus around the world. On the App Store you will find one more Czech application for monitoring the situation around COVID-19. This is a tool called the Coronavirus COVID-19, and Charles University in Prague participated in its development. The application offers detailed and verified information about symptoms, prevention, news and the procedure for the occurrence of symptoms of the disease. Although the Mapy.cz application is not primarily used to monitor the situation related to the infection of COVID-19, it does offer one useful function. This is the possibility of activating a warning about possible movement (in the past) in the vicinity of a person who has been tested positive for the disease COVID-19. If the app finds such a location and time match, it will send a notification. To receive notifications, you need to update the Mapy.cz application to the latest version and enable location sharing.
Online map
The latest tool to track the spread of the COVID-19 disease is not an app per se. This is an interactive map on the website where you can find official data on those infected, cured and dead from COVID-19. The CSSE (Center for Systems Science and Engineering) is behind this map, and the relevant data comes from the World Health Organization (WHO) and infection control centers around the world.
