Through the iTunes service, you can make application purchases on your Apple devices, but you can also pay for multimedia content - purchases of songs and entire albums, sounds, iPhone ringtones, or even purchases and rentals of movies. In today's article, we will introduce you to five features that are definitely worth using when making purchases in iTunes.

Payment through the operator

For several years, it has also been possible to pay for items in iTunes through selected operators. This means you won't have to share your credit card details with Apple in this case, but your purchases will be billed to you via an invoice from your carrier. To set up carrier payments on iTunes, open Settings on your iPhone and tap the bar with your name on it. Tap Payments & Shipping, then tap your current payment method and choose remove payment method at the very bottom. After that, all you have to do is enter mobile phone payments as a new payment method.

Purchase search by amount

Have you received a chargeback notification for an iTunes purchase, but are you confused as to what the purchase might have been? Apple offers the ability to search for a purchase by amount. On the page reportproblem.apple.com sign in with your Apple ID and password. Here, just enter the desired amount in the Search field and press Enter.

Wishlist

Have you come across a movie or song on iTunes that for various reasons you don't want to buy right away, but would like to return to at some point? A great solution is to save it to your wish list. If you want to add a movie or song from the ITunes Store to your wish list, tap the selected item. Then click on the share icon in the top right and choose Add to Wish List. You can find the wish list by clicking on the list icon in the upper right corner of the main iTunes Store screen.

Requiring a password for every purchase

If you're not the only person with access to your Apple devices, and you're worried that someone might inadvertently purchase an app or media from your account, you can set it to require a password for every purchase. On your iPhone, open Settings and tap the bar with your name on it. Choose Media and purchases -> Password settings and activate Always require password. You can also set to require a password even during free downloads.

Cash on Apple ID

You can also use Apple ID Cash to pay on iTunes. You transfer funds to your Apple ID account using traditional payment methods, such as a debit or credit card. To add funds to your Apple ID account, launch the App Store on your iPhone and tap your profile icon in the top right. Tap Add Cash to Account, then just choose one of the amounts or enter your own.
