Apple already offers a number of applications in its iOS system. Some are used by almost everyone, while others, on the contrary, only a minimum of users, because they prefer those from third-party developers. However, not all titles have been with us since the beginning of Apple's mobile platform. The company added them gradually as the system matured. But what could we expect in the future?

From time to time, Apple releases a new application with a new version of iOS, but it is usually based on those that are already available in some form in the App Store. The last time it was a title Translate, which was supposed to make it easier for us to translate world languages, or Measurement, which, on the other hand, measures distances not only in augmented reality. The original application is not even needed Dictaphone or of course Abbreviations. But it is quite interesting to go through the App Store and see what other applications Apple could present with a little inspiration from third-party developers.

Meditation application

Nothing is on offer more than for Apple to create its own app with meditation features. Of course, these would include not only the various sounds that iOS already offers in Settings -> Accessibility -> Audiovisual aids, but also breathing exercises that are available, for example, in the Apple Watch. It could thus concentrate everything in one useful application, in which users of the Fitness+ platform could also find themed exercises.

Diary app

Apple offers us Notes, Reminders and Calendar, but especially in the time of the coronavirus, an application that helps us keep all our memories in one place would be useful. One that would allow us to reflect for a moment on the pleasant moments experienced in each day, to which we add a photo and other data characterizing the given day.

Custom widgets

We are now dependent on the kind of widgets that Apple offers us, nothing more, nothing less. But in the App Store you can already find many applications that play with widgets in different ways and customize them. In this way, the company could provide all toys with a native tool to customize the surface of their iPhones exactly according to their wishes.

Document scanner

Within the Camera application, we have two elements to help us scan any documents. The first is, of course, Live Text, which came with iOS 15, but long before that we had a central cross that, depending on the accelerometer, shows the camera's perpendicular view of the object. But we still don't have automatic cropping of the scanned document and options for further work with it, such as conversion to monochrome colors, etc. So we always have to use external applications.

Financial applications

We do have Actions here, but it's a bit small. And since Apple also offers its Apple Pay and Apple Card, it could unite these services into one application in which we could manage our income and expenses. Certainly a bold move (and the question of whether it is feasible) would be the integration of investment in stocks and cryptocurrencies. But this is already a very bold polemic.
